Well...according to HER she is. I dunno.
Rolling Stone gave the new Cyndi Lauper CD 3 and a half stars the other day.
She made this record in Memphis. And had folks like Scott Bomar, Kenny Brown, Charley Musselwhite, Allen Toussaint and B.B. King working with her.
Whenever I think of her anymore-I picture her in the pro wrestling ring. (She must have needed the money at some point). I am not saying she cant sing or anything....just not sure how she got where she is currently at.
Anyone else think it is weird that she could be selling a blues record so well? Are blues fans really the ones buying this...???
